The leading provider of enterprise blockchain solutions and multi-cryptocurrency wallet Ethos has announced it is integrating with Simplex to enable altcoin and bitcoin purchases with credit cards and debit cards.
Simplex is a FinTech firm, which provides online merchants with fraud-free payment processing. The company’s automated system facilitates online payment processing while assessing the risk of fraud with maximum accuracy and speed.
The global instant fiat purchase service will mean that customers of Ethos will soon be able to access liquidity and exchange services between fiat and cryptocurrencies on an international scale.
Seamless conversion between fiat and cryptocurrencies
The agreement with Simplex will mean Ethos is able to accelerate the first phase of the fiat gateway and offer Ethos customers a secure and seamless way to convert between fiat and cryptocurrency.
Talking of Ethos’ alliance with Simplex, the company’s founder and CEO Shingo Lavine, commented in a press statement:
“Ethos is excited to offer a wealth of dynamic capabilities to consumers. The Universal Wallet will become the most accessible way for people to safely interact with cryptocurrencies using innovative services such as Simplex.”
Simplex’s CEO and co-founder Nimrod Lehavi, shares Lavine’s enthusiasm of the integration with Ethos, saying:
“As Ethos expands its service offering, Simplex is proud to play a fundamental role in offering seamless, easy conversion between fiat and cryptocurrencies while ensuring transactions are completely fraud-free.”
Ethos’ alliance with Simplex follows an earlier partnership formed by the innovative blockchain solutions provider with the instant digital asset exchange ShapeShift, to ensure enterprise customers can access exchange services and liquidity of multiple cryptocurrencies and tokens.
Harnessing the power and autonomy of cryptocurrencies
The alliances with both Simplex and ShapeShift are part of Ethos’ drive to create a financial ecosystem that is “open, safe and fair for everyone by harnessing the power and autonomy that cryptocurrencies provide.”
Making bitcoin transactions easier with credit cards
The enabling of altcoin and bitcoin purchases with credit cards and debit cards through the Ethos and Simplex alliance corresponds with the push by credit card institutions to facilitate the easy flow of bitcoin transactions.
For example, last month, the credit card company, MasterCard won a patent which could allow cryptocurrency transactions for their cardholders in the future.
