Cryptocurrency will step into the MMA cage in London this evening in front of a nation-wide TV audience as Bitcoin BCH sponsors BAMMA.
When it comes to Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in the UK, it doesn’t get much bigger than BAMMA, the British Association of Mixed Martial Arts, whose London show will broadcast live on ITV4, which is a national UK TV network.
Champion vs. champion
When Bitcoin BCH sponsors BAMMA as the headline sponsor it will put itself front and center on the night, as Lightweight world champion Rhys McKee defends his title against Welterweight champion Terry Brazier in a huge “champion vs. champion” bout.
The event will follow the England vs. Belgium World Cup football match, so the potential number of viewers who could tune in to this show is enormous.
Paul Benson, who is Head of Commercial for BAMMA commented – “We are all excited to be partnering with Coingeek.com and BCH ahead of BAMMA Fight Night: London. The emergence of Bitcoin Cash as a genuine low transaction fee currency has been such an interesting news story over the last 12 months. The team at Coingeek.com provide fantastic advice for those wanting to take the plunge into the world of Bitcoin BCH. We are delighted to be working with them to grow BCH amongst the BAMMA fanbase.”
Incomparably low transaction fees
This sponsorship deal isn’t the first foray into the UK sporting arena for Coingeek.com and BCH, as they have recently struck a deal to become the first cryptocurrency in the world to sponsor a football team, working with Ayr United of the Scottish football Championship.
Ayr United has also taken the step of offering their fans the opportunity to purchase club merchandise from their website using BCH as payment.
Talking about the BAMMA event in London, Mark Hebblewhite, Marketing Director of Coingeek.com added – “Bitcoin BCH has seen incredible growth since bringing the true essence of Bitcoin back on August 1st last year. Sponsorships like this will help us grow the liquidity of BCH and highlight to merchants the value of its incomparably low transaction fees.”
This kind of sponsorship by Bitcoin BCH will help to bring cryptocurrency into the mainstream spotlight, which can only be a good thing for the industry as a whole.
